“Primitive sophistication,” Walter Adler Chefitz says when asked to describe his work. “It will touch your heart the moment it touches your hand.” His sculptural, tribal designs have earned him international recognition. In 2012 Walt moved his New York TriBeCa studio to Miami to be with Adena, the love of his life. Sunday mornings you’ll find him in Pinecrest Farmers Market alongside Adena selling seasonal tropical fruit from her family farm. “It’s all organic,” he says, “the fruit, and the jewelry.”
